HAPOO Develops an Effective Train Undercarriage Washing System


Good maintenance of a train system is a key factor in its proper functioning, and cleaning of the interior and exterior is crucial for the train’s undercarriage, the lower part of the train. During operation, the train will be affected by the atmosphere such as rain and snow, and dirt will often accumulate on the track, which will also stick to the chassis of the train.


HAPOO has developed a 13-nozzle piping system that can be installed on the track serving the train, with a total of 3 pipes. Each pipe is several meters apart. The nozzle chosen was a K-style high-impact flat nozzle.

As the train runs on the track, it encounters three pipelines in sequence, which have the functions of degreasing, washing and finishing respectively.

HAPOO’s solution can be installed on the same track used by conventional drive-in car wash systems, enabling efficient washing while optimizing time utilization and ensuring a high level of cleanliness.

Type K Flat Nozzle – High Impact:

This K-style flat spray nozzle features a scoop-shaped deflecting surface that focuses the stream and produces a high-impact, narrow-angle flat spray. Therefore, it is widely used in all working environments where strong jetting force is required.

Compared to standard cat-eye shape flat nozzles, K-style nozzles have a larger and unobstructed inner passage that is less prone to clogging, provides high-performance cleaning efficiency, and has a longer service life.


Large vehicles, such as trucks, are constantly in motion and travel long distances, making them a potential source of danger for the spread of viruses, bacteria, and other harmful substances. Therefore, HAPPP responded to the need to sanitize the exterior of trucks and large vehicles with a door-to-door sanitation solution.


HAPOO has designed systems suitable for disinfecting vehicles, which can be customized according to vehicle type and disinfection requirements. Easy to transport and quick to install, the system consists of stainless steel piping portals and an integrated misting system. The sanitizing solution is drawn directly from the collection tank next to the pump unit. The system is automatically activated when the vehicle passes the photocell. The spray time (from 2 seconds to 2 minutes) can be adjusted by an analog timer inside the control cabinet. The system needs to be plugged into a power source to operate.


The vehicle disinfection system is very flexible and can be adjusted according to customer needs. Its structure is light and easy to assemble, which can meet the disinfection needs without large-scale installation works.

Full cone nozzle:

Type full cone nozzles are equipped with wide channel vanes, provide a variety of spray angles, capacity ranges from 1.18 to 1.420 liters per minute, and connection sizes from 1/8 inch to 4 inches.

The vanes are securely lockable on sizes up to 3/8″ to avoid possible dislodgement of the X-blades from the nozzle body in the event of dimensional changes due to temperature changes, while allowing the nozzle to be installed in the desired orientation.
